Bikes & Wine in the Maipo River Valley
- 1 day of fun bike-riding into the Maipo Valley.
- We visit Chocalan Vineyard near Melipilla
Itinerary:
Leave Santiago at 09:00am. Pick up at a convenient place.
After a 1 hour drive, arrive to the nice area of Laguna Aculeo about 60 miles from Santiago. The ride starts along a nice secondary road around the laggon. We ride through small rural communities and plantations. The cycling here is fun and the terrain is interesting. Though this is the most demanding of all our Bikes & Wine Trips, the level of difficulty should not stop anybody from the experience.
After 3 hours of riding (app) with some stops on the way, we arrive at Chocalán vineyard, a young and fresh vineyard with lots to offer. We have a guided-tour of the vinery and we sample some of the vineyard’s best wines.
We have lunch by the vineyard plantations prepared by Gradosur staff.
We return to Santiago at around 7pm
$180 (usd) per person - minimum 3 people
